We offer the best rush service and pricing in the industry. Customer service is our specialty. We take your deadlines seriously and provide timely reporting. Your individual requirements define our service: you tell us how you would like to send and receive your orders, how your invoice should be organized, how often you would like status reports, what kind of special reports you need and any other details you require.

Rush Orders

We offer one of the most competitive Rush prices in the industry. Our prompt status notification is very important to our customers.

Customer Service

We are recognized in the industry for our rapid response to client needs. One person from our staff is devoted entirely to quality management. We know that our customers depend on us to meet their deadlines. Our status reporting is therefore designed to provide timely updates on orders. Rush order status is done by telephone, fax or email.

Considering our high percentage of tough orders, we are justifiably proud of our 97% fill rate!

Delivery and Shipping

Our customers define the delivery methods and destinations for their orders. We are happy to ship to a central location or directly to end users. Unless instructed otherwise, orders are shipped by whatever means necessary to ensure timely delivery. We do not charge for shipping except in the following cases where delivery charges will be added to the invoice:

• Charges for overseas shipment.
• Delivery services (e.g. Federal Express, UPS, Overnight Mail, etc.) when requested by the customer.
• Rush Fax orders: $1.00 per page for faxing.

Copyright and Royalties

The Research Investment supplies documents in compliance with US Copyright Law. We are members of The Copyright Clearance Center and pay royalties to the Center’s Transactional Reporting Service. We also have agreements with certain publishers who are not members of the Copyright Clearance Center. We contact publishers not listed with the CCC, or with whom we do not have agreements. Our internal system tracks unusually high copyrights and "flags" the least expensive sources for such documents.

Verification

When citations require additional information or clarification, TRI-DOC is happy to provide this service to volume accounts at cost. All others are assessed a minimal fee for this service. Our research division is adept at handling those requests which require further investigation.

Confidentiality

Your confidentiality is always assured. We never reveal identities of our clients during the document retrieval process unless we have been specifically authorized to do so.

Reporting and Invoicing

We offer customized reporting and invoicing in any format based on customer requirements. We are happy to provide occasional special reports which list, for example, orders by requester or journal title. Electronic invoicing is available upon request. Corporate credit cards are welcome.

Quotations

We are pleased to provide a quotation prior to order placement. No cost. No obligation. We quote you a price and the time estimated to supply the order. We are also able to operate on a not-to-exceed basis per order. In that case we would obtain approval to proceed if obtaining an article exceeds a certain dollar amount.

SEAMLESS PARTNERING: We often supplement the staff of our clients during busy periods by providing research services formatted to their specifications.

TOTAL PROJECT APPROACH: Our value-added services include a total project approach. We are able to do a literature search, retrieve all relevant articles, translate where necessary and gather missing information through in-depth interviews, surveys or focus groups.
